Welcome to the Circle Match (previously Tiger College Advising Team) Speaker Series! Establishing your personal brand and building your network are necessary college skills. Max Kaplan, Circle Match’s Director of Strategy and Management Consultant at Accenture, will be introducing the topics covered in our upcoming sessions such as elevator pitches, networking, online presence, and financial aid questions.

The financial aid process doesn’t need to be so daunting. Guest speaker, Chris Doran from the Student Financial Services department of the University of Virginia, joins us today to discuss financial aid topics and provide useful tips. We will cover the FAFSA, CSS, loans, work-study options, DACA status, and how to compare different offers!

For many of us, attending college means leaving your hometowns for the first time. Through shared experiences of Memorial High School alumni, our panelists will discuss their transitions to college and what they wish they knew when they were in your shoes! Our six guests include three recent graduates and three professionals post-college.
